Oud Al Xenyah opens with bright bergamot and grapefruit, cut with a thread of saffron. Then the oud comes forward, dark and resinous, wrapped in smoked woods and a clean, cool freshness. It settles into sandalwood, patchouli and vetiver, with benzoin and labdanum glowing underneath like embers.
It is a bold fragrance, but not a heavy one. It is made for the person who wants to be remembered after they have gone.
