Leather Drawn in Smoke
Octavius left Rome with a cargo of wine and returned to no one.
The caravan routes ran east, past the last cities he could name, into the subcontinent. There, markets sold saffron by the thread, and the dusk air carried oud, resin and rain on warm stone. He had been sent to trade. Within a season he had stopped counting what he owed.
He took the dark, softened leather of the saddle-makers, the saffron the dyers guarded, and the amber the resin-gatherers burned at their doors. He took the vetiver roots laid wet at windows to cool the afternoon. He wrote none of it down. He wore it instead, until it became the only record he kept.
Octavius is that record. Bergamot brings the first light; saffron warms a heart of softened leather. An oud accord draws a dark veil through the composition, leaving vetiver and amber warmth in its wake. Commanding in presence, expansive in sillage—a trace of somewhere you have never been, yet cannot forget.
Octavius Noir. Depth, without compromise.
Octavius Noir
Octavius opens with bright bergamot over a dark heart of suede leather and smoked oud, lit by saffron and a green flicker of palmarosa. It dries down slowly into vetiver, labdanum and amber, warm, textured and long-lasting.
The depth of an extrait.
A presence that stays.
